Since September 2008, children and families across Central New York have been happily entertained by Mama Pajama’s Playhouse (MPP) performances at libraries, daycares, fairs, festivals, elementary schools, expos, mom’s group events, kids events and many private engagements. MPP offers children’s music concerts and interactive storytelling, using musical instruments, props, books and more. Over the years, MPP has created more than 40 terrific original shows for you to choose from. Our programs are designed for children four to eight, and for all the big kids who are young at heart. Kim Privler (Mama Pajama) performs her son, guitarist/singer, Austin ”Rockin’ Raabe,” who sings and accompanies Mama Pajama and narrates as well as performs character voices during story time. Mama Pajama’s Playhouse has nearly 300 original children’s songs and a variety of original children’s stories in its collection, all of which are performed at MPP concerts. Our shows are fun, interactive and entertaining. We offer performances that focus on literacy, music, education and entertainment. While we are frequently asked to play at ”pajama night” shows, we encourage children who attend ANY of our shows (day or night) to wear their jammies and bring their favorite “Jammie Pal” stuffed animal. It just adds to the fun when the kids dress up like Mama Pajama and get into the spirit of the shows. We are available for performances days, evenings and weekends.
